At the time of writing (June 30th 2020) as some businesses are opening up again, the current Government guidelines mean that I cannot entertain at events.

From 4th July “When you are outside you can continue to meet in groups of up to six people from different households, following social distancing guidelines” https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/coronavirus-outbreak-faqs-what-you-can-and-cant-do/coronavirus-outbreak-faqs-what-you-can-and-cant-do-after-4-july#gatherings-public-spaces-and-activities

I will be continuing to deliver balloon gifts and more details are here –https://www.dannytheidiot.com/balloon-deliveries/

Here are the reasons why I will be sticking to the Government guidelines.

  • Health – I need to look after my own health and although the numbers are down, the virus is still around. Also I want to look after my audiences’ health and not cause harm to them.
  • Insurance – As long as I am within current guidelines I will be insured with public liability insurance from Equity – the Actors Union
  • Sense – we are in the midst of a global pandemic. For my own peace of mind I need to do the right thing and minimise any possible spread that I can.

However, if you are having a small event and would like some balloons delivered, or even some advice as an experienced party entertainer I would be happy to give free ideas and suggestions.
